Activities and Groups

Sunday School
The Sunday School meets at 9.30am on the first and third Sundays in the month, in the Vestry (attached to the Church). The leaders plan many interesting and enjoyable activities to help children understand the importance of the Christian faith.

Uniformed Groups
We have Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, all of which are associated with St. Martins. They meet during term times on Wednesdays, in Knowle School within the parish.

Choir
The choir meets in Church on Thursdays at 7.15pm. We seek to offer a wide range of church music and welcome new members who enjoy singing and who wish to extent their abilities.

Servers
Our servers are members of The Guild of the Servants of the Sanctuary. We take an active role in the worship at St. Martins by assisting the priest at all services. The servers are extremely privileged taking on this role and do so with respect and dedication.

Cell of Our Lady of Walsingham
The St Martins' Cell celebrates all the major festival days of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and makes regular pilgrimages to the Shrine at Walsingham; Our aims are to foster devotion to our Lady under this ancient title and to support the work of the Shrine.

Arts and Crafts Club

Meets in the Vestry Hall at 7.30 pm on the First Tuesday evening of each month. New members who want to develop their creative talents are always welcome and a variety of activities and art forms are explored.
